They are seeking relationships -- at home, at church, in the community. Advertisers know this and you can bet that good or bad, they seeking to fill this role with whatever it is they are selling before that girl learns the truth. We can't let our girls grow up thinking they aren't enough or that a certain product or look or will make them desirable. Or that they gain acceptance by behaving in unhealthy ways. We can't have the tools at our disposal to help them and simply walk away, turn our backs or apathetically choose the easy path.
